Lynetta Zuber has been in theater since she could talk. Her next play is a musical, She Loves Me, and Lynetta has directed, designed sets and choreographed and has a role in the performance.
Lynetta began in Christian drama at her church and has been a student of theater ever since. If there is a need in theater, Lynetta learns to fill the need. She is effective at lights and sound, props and set design.
Lynetta enjoys working with children and has been instrumental in shifting the Roswell Kids in Arts Program to Roswell Community Little Theatre, (RCLT). Lynetta takes pleasure in seeing her students learn and grow in a productive way.
Lynetta is a talented performer both with a script and in improv. She is a pleasure to work with on and off stage. She works hard to make performances go smoothly whether on stage or behind the scenes.
Lynetta prefers wholesome fun works when proposing a script, and she delights in the challenge of choreography along with set design. Her next play offers all of the above. It is wholesome and fun, with wonderful sets and great choreography. The play is a musical that is just right for RCLT.

Thanks to Alethea Hartwell and her passion for improv, Mission Improvable is coming to you again live April 22nd at the Roswell Community Little Theater (RCLT). The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
In a recent interview, Alethea says that the skills an actor learns in improv are so applicable to daily life. She describes three principles that actors focus on as they learn improv. and how those skills can translate into healthy relationships and better life.
The first principle is, “yes and.” Working with actors in improv, a simple “yes,” carries the story forward. A “no,” can stop the momentum and sometimes even the story element of the improvisation. Add the “and,” to the yes and momentum and story increase. Alethea makes the case that in life relationships may be strengthened by agreement where possible and adding the “and,” is adding encouragement.
The second principle is: “Always make the other person look like a genius.” In a performance this brings out the best in the troupe, in life it brings out the timid, helps raise the conversation from derision to joy and solicits a person’s best response.
Alethea spoke of one final principle: “Practice active listening.” On stage, active listening sharpens the storyline and allows people to drop into the imagined scene more easily. The whole troupe is more confident in proceeding. In life, active listening strengthens healthy relationships and is the foundation of compassion.
Of course, improv is fun and full of laughter, so come and see the show.

Next up for Alethea? She has been cast as Miss Peacock in Kathy Cook’s latest play, Clue: On Stage. Alethea is a fabulous comedic actor, and this play has ample places for her to shine. Kathy Cook has assembled a wonderful cast and they are hard at work in rehearsals.

Auditions for Clue On Stage
Clue On Stage opened its auditions this evening. Tomorrow is the final audition for this play. You know the board game and maybe you have seen the movie. Are you a fan of Mrs. Peacock or maybe Colonel Mustard? Come be a part of it all. Final auditions will be held tomorrow at the RCLT at 7:00 p.m.
Next week, RCLT is holding auditions for their Improv troupe, Mission Improvable. Be a part of this fun and comic adventure. Auditions are one night only at 7:00 p.m. on the sixteenth of March at RCLT. The performance will be lively and LIVE on April 22nd at 7:30 P.M. at RCLT.
Meet Angela Wipperman. Without her the Roswell Community Little Theatre's would be dark and quiet.
Angela spent her earliest years in Dallas Texas. Then, when she was four-years-old, her family moved to El Paso Texas. In the eighth grade and all the way through high school and community college Angela sang in choir. She also helped at her father’s business. Once Angela kept the gas station open late so that Denzel Washington could get gas. Angela’s ornery smile lights up when she remembers that Denzel tipped her one-hundred dollars for staying open.
When Angela was a junior in high school, she joined sixteen of the best youth voices from Texas to sing at Carnegie Hall. There Angela met Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, and Demi Moore. She admits to still being a little star struck.
As a singer, Angel became comfortable on stage, but even more comfortable behind the scenes. From her first years in live performing, she helped with lights and sound. In her earliest stage experience she had to actually go downstage and physically move stage lights. Angela also really enjoys helping with costumes and sets. She worked with costumes sets, light and sound before ever going on stage as an actress.
Angela acted some in school and even for Roswell Community Little Theater (RCLT) in Unnecessary Farce. With her quick wit and lively personality, she is perfect for improv. Angela plans to audition for Mission Improvable on March 16 at RCLT.
Angela also loves working with children in theater. One of her favorite memories was helping backstage for and elementary school production of the Wizard of Oz. She enjoyed helping the munchkins and lollipop kids get ready and seeing the set and play come together, had her hooked for live theater.

Chris Wiperrman was born and lived most of his life in Kansas City. He retired from law enforcement and married his wife, Angela in Kansas City. In 2019, he and Angela were ready for a change. Angela had family in the Tularosa/Alamogordo area so they came out west. They liked New Mexico and Roswell in particular. Since Tularosa and Alamogordo were only a morning’s drive away, they settled in Roswell.
Chris enjoyed theater from an early age. In high school he performed and worked backstage. Chris was so talented that he received a scholarship for dramatic arts college.
While he continued to study theater, Chris had his eyes on another prize. He wanted to be a police officer and stepped away from the dramatic arts to fulfill that dream. After retirement Chris was anxious to return to the theater. After moving to Roswell, Chris got a call from a Roswell Community Little Theatre’s, RCLT) own Tricia Hart (see https://www.bacoots.com/category/general/). Tricia asked Chris to audition for a role in Francine’s Will. Chris not only got a part in Francine’s Will but found a new second home at RCLT.
RCLT has made good use of Chris’ talents on and off stage. He has a thorough knowledge of set design and construction as well as lights and sound. In Francine’s Will, Dearly Beloved and Four Old Broads, Chris made the set come to life even while learning lines to perform.
Chris blushes a little when he admits that he most enjoys being the center of attention. Center of attention or not, he is a fabulous actor, filling in roles with perfect timing and garnering great laughs from the audience.
Chris is a bloodhound when sourcing props. From junkyards to second-hand stores to the Salvation Army, Chris will search high and low for the perfect item. For Four Old Broads, he secured a marvelous, fringed lampshade for use as a hat. Chris in and active member of RCLT and now a board member as well.

Edrice Tozier was born in Carlsbad but has lived most of her life in Roswell. She attended Gateway High School and began her love of drama.
After high school Edrice took a year off before college. She enrolled at Eastern New Mexico University Roswell Campus (ENMUR) and completed her degree. She rekindled her love of theater at ENMUR, mostly working on the stage crew and behind the scenes. She auditioned for one role while at ENMUR and performed in the play, Fairy Tale Christmas.
Edrice joined Roswell Community Little Theatre (RCLT) and was cast as the only female character in Dracula. It was in Dracula that Edrice earned her reputation as a dedicated student of character, and a capable actress.
After a short break, Edrice worked with the improv group at RCLT and then as understudy for the lead role of Clarissa in Spider’s Web. She was also cast in Spider’s Web in a supporting role. Recently Edrice starred in three major roles as Philodendron, Beauty, and Prune Danish in the comedy Mother Goose Gets Eaten by a Werewolf. She is currently cast as the much-maligned nurse, Ruby Sue, in the next RCLT production of Four Old Broads.
Edrice is an avid reader and a writer. She enjoys the process of bringing a character to life, both on the page and on the stage. She also studies well how authors and directors bring characters to life. Edrice also enjoys live performance and the active feedback from the audience. She really enjoyed her roles in Mother Goose Gets Eaten by a Werewolf. The roles were fun and the cast and crew worked well together. She said one of the cast members did a different dance every night of the live performance. Edrice says, with hint of laughter in her voice that she really enjoyed Prune Danish’s character. Prune was crafty and had a plan to kill her stepmother.
Edrice says that the creative part of drama is in how she portrays each role. A true professional , she learns her lines and only then fills in the character. By opening night, Edrice is well prepared and knows the script. At the onset of production and blocking, Edrice is knowledgeable and quick to help with props. The cast and crew enjoy and respect Edrice. She is fun on stage and off with a quick wit and sure smile.
